The King Boys say good-bye to daycare

Well, it has been awhile since the last post, so I thought we might be due to share some new information. Weekend before last Sean's parents came into town, they are full-time RV'ers so they are always traveling. It looks like they are going to be parked here for about the next 3 months. It's great to have them so close for some extended time. Since they are going to be here and Sean's mom, Moogie as the boys call her, does not work outside of their home she has offered to stay at home and watch the boys while they are here. Yeah!!! The boys last day at daycare was last Tuesday. We had some mixed emotions with them leaving McCarthy CDC, we just love the daycare and all of the people there, but when the opportunity presented itself to have to boys home we just could not pass it up. It will be great for the boys to break free of the daycare structure for a few months. Alex has been in daycare since 6 weeks and Christopher since he was 8 months, so I think it will do them good to have a break. Not to mention all of the time they are going to get to spend with their Moogie. Oh, and the money we will save (Yeah!!!!!). It will take some adjusting to this new adventure, but we both really think that this is the best decision right now. Then, at the end of the 3 months we will try to get them back into McCarthy or someplace else until a spot opens up.
We have been very busy..as always. Yesterday a good friend of Mindi's from high school got married. Thanks to Moogie, we had a wonderful night out without the boys. Mindi got to see some old friends who we hadn't seen in awhile. It was wonderful to get to catch up with everyone, and the wedding was beautiful.
Next weekend we are headed to the KC Zoo with Sean's sister Stephani, her husband, Eric, and out nephew Collin, as well as Moogie and PaPaw, so I'm sure that we will have pictures to post from that trip and I would imagine some cute stories too. All of the boys have been preparing for our big trip, they are all very excited. Thanks to Steph, our boys, along with Collin, love this show called "Signing Time" which teaches sign language. So for about the past 3 weeks they have all been watching a couple of episodes on animals. It will be interesting to see how many signs they will have when we are there next weekend. Alex's favorite right now is alligator and Christopher has always liked monkey. I just can't wait to see them with all of the animals around. Until next time...God Bless.
