We Are Adding One More!!!

Let's clear this up right from the begining...No, we are not expecting again. Apparently when I announced Stephani's pregnancy several people were thinking that we were expecting again...we are not! :) However, we are adding one more member to the Darr family. Mindi's little brother, Trevor, proposed to his girlfriend, EmmaLee Jones on Sunday morning. It is a very sweet story. Trevor was preching at our home church on Sunday on commitment. After the sermon, and invitation, Trevor announced that he had one more example of commitment to make and pulled EmmaLee up front. He told her how much he loved her and that he didn't want to spend another day without her in it, he got down on one knee with the ring and asked her to marry him. It was perfect. Obviously, she said yes! To make it even more perfect, her family had snuck in the back towards the end of the service so both of their families got to be there for the whole thing. This was not an easy task seeing as between the two of them they have 4 parents, 14 siblings and sibling in-laws, and 14 nieces and nephews. It was quite a crowd, but it was wonderful! The look on her face was priceless when she saw that her family was there as well. We had a wonderful dinner at mom and dad's afterwards, to celebrate, that everyone was able to attend too. They are planning their wedding for the Summer of 2010. This means that as soon as Katrina and Eric's are married in Summer of 2009, we will start on EmmaLee and Trevor's!
Also this weekend, we attend more festival activites. We met Mom and Dad with the boys at the parade Saturday afternoon and spent some time letting them play around at the park and on some of the rides, so there are some pictures of that as well.
Also, HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY MATT!! Our brother-in-law, Matt, turns 30 today! We are all getting together tonight for bowling! Another night out without the kids! Thanks MeMaw!! We really appreciate it!

Post-Worthy News!

I know that we just posted yesterday, but we have new post-worthy news today. The Stewartsville Fall Festival is this weekend and last night the baby shows took place. Both boys have been in them since they were infants. Christopher placed every year, but this one. We really thought that he might be getting to old, but since this was the last year we even had the option we left it up to him and he said that he wanted to do it. Although I'm not sure he really understood what it was he was doing. Once up there he had no interest in performing in front of people. He just stood their politely and held his number. I thought it was very sweet and he got a purple participation ribbon and he was excited about that. I honestly think that he was more excited about Alex then he was about himself. Both Christopher and Alex took first place in their individual categories last year and Alex took first again this year. When he was handed his little trophy Christopher was so excited he yelled out "My brother won!!". It was SO cute! Here are some pictures from the evening and I'm sure we will be posting more next week after attending the parade on Saturday. The boys are staying the night with MeMaw and Papa in Stewartsville tonight while Sean and I get to have a night out. Yeah!! We have tickets to the comedy club at Zona Rosa and are grabbing some sushi before the show. We haven't had a full night without the boys since I don't know when. We are very excited!!! We will pick them up Saturday morning and head to the parade and take in all of the festival activities. It should be a very busy, but enjoyable weekend.

Picture Update

I know that it's been awhile since any updates and our website will be set up in the very near future, however in the mean time here are a few pictures to let you know what we have been up to lately. Our summer has been so crazy busy!! It's hard to believe that fall is almost here. It doesn't even feel like we have had a summer at all, but Sean and I both LOVE fall, so we aren't disappointed at all that it's coming here fast. Both boys birthday's are in October so that month is always busy for us. I am actually almost completley done with buying their birthday gifts. Yeah!
