Sean's Birthday Weekend and Other EXCITING News!!!

Last weekend we went and spent the weekend at Basewood Resort in Platte City. Sean's parent's are parked there for about a month so we decided that we would celebrate Sean's Birthday by spending the weekend there. His grandmother was in from Colorado. It was great to get to see her. Also, Sean's sisters, brother-in-law, nephew and dogs came in from Columbia, so the whole family was together. It was wonderful. Sean also got his birthday gift...a brand new gas grill!! It is beautiful! It took A LOT of lying and scheming for us to pull off this surprise. I even had a girl in my office get Sean's "advice" on this grill for her husband for father's day. This was a huge tri-fecta gift (his birthday, anniversary, and Father's Day are all within a week of each other) from me and the boys, his parent's, both sets of grandparents and my parents (the snow cone machine was just another cover up to buy us time for this big surprise...it was actually from me and the boys). He was shocked!!! Which made the months of sneaking around totally worth it! Also we got some BIG news this weekend as well! It you will notice on the left hand side of our screen.."Collin's going to be a big brother". Which means Sean's sister Stephani and her husband Eric are expecting again. You can take a look at how they told us in the last picture. We are very excited. They will not find out what they are having, so we will have to wait until February to find out if we will have another nephew or our first niece. Collin and the new baby will be even closer in age then our boys. The baby will come at the beginning of February and Collin will turn 2 at the beginning of May! We will keep you up to date on what happens with this new addition to our family!!!

Grandma Carol (Sean's Mom's Mom) and Alex

Sean gets his grill! He's so happy!

The boys on the golf cart that we drove around in all weekend. They just loved it!

Alex playing on the awesome playground equipment at the resort.

Christopher playing at the Sprinkler Pad. The boys also had a great time playing in the pool.

Alex tries a smore. Yumm!!

Christopher gets ready to fish for a Whopper!

Sean & Alex play peek-a-boo. How cute is this?

Christopher caught a Whopper! He wanted to "fry him up", but we convinced him to throw him back to let him grow up.

Our Surprise! His shirt says "I'm gonna be a big brother...but I'd still rather have a puppy."

Dan will be jealous - he wants a new grill! Maybe when they go on sale! We had a great time with you at the wedding Mindi - the picture of you and Courtney is great! Love you!
